History
On January 19, 1995, it was established as Kemal Demir School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation with the senate decision no. 12.  It started education and training with 26 students in 1996-1997 semester and gave its first graduates in 2000. Our school was closed with the decision of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey dated 25.01.2019 and numbered 669 and continues its education as the Faculty of Health Sciences Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department in the spring semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. Within our department, there are Cardiopulmonary, Geriatric, Neurological, Orthopedic and Pediatric Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Departments. In our department, education, counseling, research and social activities are carried out with 4 associate professors, 8 doctoral faculty members, 3 lecturers, 4 research assistants. Our Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation continues its education with a total of 555 students.
